Throughout most of 2019, I was dealing with some health issues that made it physically impossible to get a good night's sleep. After waking up literally gasping for air a few too many nights, I tried to simply stay up as late as possible because I was literally scared of falling asleep.

That is, uh, not healthy. The lyrics in this song are basically trying to put words to the random shit that ran through my head while delirious on no sleep and/or bad sleep.

It's only a happy coincidence that I spit out "I'm tired" like Lili Von Shtuppf rom "Blazing Saddles." Let's face it: I'm pooped. (MD)
