I have so many friends in healthy, committed relationships. And it makes me smile to see them so happy, despite climate change slowly melting the planet, the rebirth of fascism in a brand new way and, if we're lucky, the bombs dropping to put us out of our misery.
When you've got "your person," I imagine it makes stomaching the whole thing a lot easier. Thanks for letting me be your third wheel, everyone.
Important note: I want to apologize for using traditional genders in those first two lines. I swear -- I tried to come up with some gender neutral way of singing those lines. I agonized over it. But I could never make it work and, when push comes to shove, it was time to record it. I'll try to do better next time.
